Please note that you are no longer required to preface your network user name with “academic\” when logging on to Outlook Web Access.

 

Warning Message

When you click on the link at the bottom of this page to access your e-mail via Outlook Web Access, you will probably receive a warning message.

Communication with the Outlook Web Access server is now encrypted so that your network credentials cannot be seen when traversing the Internet.  However, your computer will not implicitly trust Milligan College as a source of the server’s security certificate, so you must instruct your computer to trust it.

 

What is the best browser for Outlook Web Access?

Internet Explorer is the best browser to use for Outlook Web Access.  It will give you the most feature-rich experience.  If you use any other browser, you will only have a limited sub-set of the features of Outlook Web Access available to you.

 

Internet Explorer

If you are using Internet Explorer, you will see a warning message similar to the picture below.

Simply click on the “Continue to this website” link to proceed.

 

Firefox

If you are using Firefox, you will see a warning message similar to the picture below.

Click on the “I Understand the Risks” link.  You will now see some additional information.

Click on the “Add Exception” button.  Now you will see the following dialog box.

 

Click on the “Confirm Security Exception” button.

 

Log on to Outlook Web Access

Click the picture below to log on to Outlook Web Access.
